Do I want just-milled or freeze dried FMF? Read this!
Our fresh milled flour is always made from organic wheat berries. Bread FMF is composed of 3 parts hard white wheat and one part hard red wheat. If you have specific requests for other varieties to be included in your FMF, please reach out as we can make a special blend just for you!
To keep the oils present in just-milled FMF from going rancid, it's best kept at room temperature for up to two days, in the fridge for up to three to four months, and in the freezer for up to six to twelve months. Freeze drying FMF not only preserves the nutrients of just-milled FMF, but it makes it shelf stable for several years; when properly sealed with oxygen absorbers (like you get it from BFAM Farm), freeze dried FMF can last for 20-30 years!
